Safety is our number one concern at TEN-X. We use best practices, that have been tried and tested for decades. We are committed to using outdoor shooting venues. This limits exposure to heavy metals found in ammunition. Outdoor ranges are also more condusive to movement and allow Students to actually draw and fire form a holster. Students taking pistol training courses are required to use an outside the waistband holster designed for their pistol(s) secured to their waist by a belt. Under no circumstances are inside the waistband holsters allowed at any time, no exceptions. Only factory loaded ammunition is allowed during live fire training, reloaded ammunition is prohibited at all times. If you have any questions about what holster or ammunition is appropriate for your firearm. We will be more than happy to assist you in obtaining the appropriate holster, ammunition and other appropriate equipment at no additional charge.

Since joining TEN-X Firearms Training/Armorer, Jason and Darell have consistently brought a passion and dedication with them each day. Their experience makes them a perfect fit as our instructors. Our instructors are all honorably retired law enforcement officers, each with several NRA Instructor ratings. Together, Jason and Darrel have over 50 years of law enforcement experience with Orange County Police Departments. Both Jason and Darrel have been competitive and competed in Service Rifle, Practical Police Pistol and IPSIC and Long Range Percision Rifle.

Loved by students and staff alike, Jason Dinger brings knowledge, enthusiasm and joy to TEN-X Firearms Training/Armorer. As our Senior Instructor, he has been an invaluable member of the team and is also the owner/operator. Jason Dinger has attended several manufacturer armorer's courses, including but not limited to Glock, Colt, Remington and Beretta.
